About us

Our purpose:
-change the perspective of how staff & incarcerated view each other
-to emphasize personal, mental and family well-being in all aspects of life
-educating staff to not separate their Christian lifestyle from work

Towards the end of my career as a Lieutenant with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), I was being led by God in a direction that I never expected. While sitting in church one Sunday I felt compelled to investigate attending Highlands College in Birmingham, Alabama. After completing my Pastoral Leadership certification program, I was ready to retire from the BOP. I was still feeling compelled to do more in ministry and continued to feel that everything I had been through in my life was for something bigger.
On November 10, 2022, I had a conversation with my wife, Amanda, about starting Reformation 319 as a Facebook page. We have since grown this into an Instagram account and Reformation319.org. The long-term goal is for this to become a non-profit that is helping correctional staff and their families by doing guest speaking at prisons, conferences, and however God leads me.
